Since its introduction in 1977 the symbol “Geprüfte Sicherheit” (Tested Safety - GS symbol) has become the most well-known mark of conformity in Europe.
The GS symbol ensures that a product does not pose any risk to the health and safety of the user. VS furniture carries the GS symbol – the official certificate of tested safety in accordance with German guidelines. It is therefore perfectly equipped for all the rigours of everyday use. VS also has its quality and safety independently tested on a regular basis. Thus the company has already had for many years an established, process-oriented quality management system based on the standard DIN EN ISO 9001. This system gears all company processes consistently to absolute quality assurance and continuous optimisation.
